These Terms dictate how you interact with everything VidyaGate offers—our GATE syllabus tracker, PYQ breakdown tools, student dashboard, 1-on-1 mentorship, test series, and community forums. Whenever you see "VidyaGate," "we," or "our," it refers to the team building and maintaining this platform for you.

By signing up, taking a test, booking a mentor, or even just browsing our materials, you are agreeing to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If any of these rules don't sit right with you, we kindly ask that you refrain from using the platform.

You must be 18 or older to independently hold a VidyaGate account. If you're between 13 and 17, you need explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian. We do not support accounts for users under 13, and any such accounts will be permanently deactivated upon discovery.

To get started, we just need your name, an email address, and your target GATE paper—specifically CSE or Data Science & AI. While the core dashboard is free, unlocking our advanced test series or booking a mentor requires a purchase.

Please ensure that all the information you provide during registration is accurate and up-to-date. If your details change, just hop into your account settings to fix them.

Your account is exclusively yours. Please do not share your login credentials with friends or study groups. Not only does this mess up your personal analytics and syllabus tracking, but it also violates our policy, and shared accounts may be suspended.

All the study materials on VidyaGate—whether it's our PYQ analysis, syllabus breakdowns, mock tests, or mentor notes—are collectively referred to as "Content." We grant you a personal, non-exclusive right to use this Content strictly for your own GATE preparation.

Under no circumstances does this permission allow you to:

• Duplicate, alter, or rebrand our Content for your own gain;
• Leak our test series questions or study notes onto public forums or file-sharing platforms;
• Monetize our materials (e.g., using them to tutor others for a fee);
• Attempt to scrape, hack, or reverse-engineer the VidyaGate website or app;
• Distribute your account access or downloaded PDFs to other GATE aspirants.

If we detect any of the above activities, your access will be immediately revoked without warning, and you must destroy any copies of our materials in your possession.

Our discussion forums and community areas are meant for clearing doubts and sharing GATE strategies. Participation is entirely voluntary. When you interact with fellow learners, we enforce a strict code of conduct:

Any content you submit to public forums grants VidyaGate the right to display, modify, and utilize it across our platform. We reserve the absolute right to delete comments or ban users who fail to uphold these community standards.

All intellectual property rights regarding the VidyaGate brand, our PYQ engine, UI design, source code, and exclusive curriculum materials belong solely to VidyaGate. Your use of our platform does not grant you any ownership rights over our property.

We love hearing your feedback and feature requests! However, please note that if you suggest an improvement that we eventually build, VidyaGate retains full ownership of the resulting feature, without any obligation for compensation or royalties.

Accessing premium offerings like our 1-on-1 mentorship programs or comprehensive test series requires payment of the listed fees. All transactions are securely handled by trusted third-party payment gateways (like Razorpay); VidyaGate does not directly store your credit card or bank details.

Purchases made on VidyaGate are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in our dedicated Refund Policy. Specifically for test series:

• You may retake practice tests, but only your initial attempt will be recorded for official ranking and performance analytics on your dashboard.
• Initiating even a single test within a purchased bundle is considered full consumption of the product, thereby voiding most refund eligibilities.

Under no circumstances shall VidyaGate be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including data loss or missed study time—resulting from server downtimes or platform errors. Our maximum liability to you will never exceed the amount you have paid us for our services.

Should VidyaGate face any legal claims or damages as a direct result of your actions—such as violating these Terms or infringing upon another's intellectual property—you agree to fully indemnify us and cover any associated legal expenses.

You may find links on our platform pointing to external websites, such as mentor portfolios or reference materials. We do not heavily monitor these external sites, and clicking through to them is at your own risk; VidyaGate is not responsible for third-party content.

These Terms are governed strictly by the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of your use of VidyaGate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts.

• Modifications: We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued usage of the platform implies your acceptance of the revised rules.
• Non-Waiver: If we fail to enforce a rule today, it doesn't mean we waive our right to enforce it tomorrow.
• Transfer of Rights: You may not hand off your account obligations to someone else. We may, however, transfer our rights in the event of an acquisition or merger.
• Severability: If any single clause here is deemed legally invalid, the remaining clauses will continue to operate with full force.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for outages caused by factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters or nationwide internet blackouts.
